Seniors Ben Rooks and Nicky Shapiro have stepped up to provide electric vehicle charging at Falmouth High School, located in Falmouth, Maine. Their efforts raised around $21,000 and received a couple of grants, allowing them to install two ClipperCreek charging stations on their school campus.
They ultimately decided to go with ClipperCreek charging stations, because ClipperCreek’s EVSE is known for its compatibility with all electric vehicles currently active on the road.
This move has made their campus capable of charging four vehicles at a time. Located in the back parking lot, these stations are available for public use. The stations are connected to the high school’s grid for now, but there are plans to power them with solar energy in the future.
